The castle nut also has two holes opposite each other for a set screw possibly The castle nut is on backwards and has slanted grooves for the castle nut wrench In the photo it's shown with newer handguards, but I have the older ones with metal heat shielding put upĢ position commercial-spec butt stock(I've only heard of these on Colt weapons) It looks as though the front sling mount was coated in rubber Even the ribs on the bolt release and magazine release buttons are pristine. I didn't find a single ding in it at all. He described it as a preban weapon, but I'm unsure. He asked if we wanted another and I ended up taking it home for $700. The guy was unable to sell it for $850 while in the show and saw my dad and I outside with a couple of other AR15's we had purchased that day. I picked it up at a local gun show in Irving last weekend as it was headed out the door. I'm told this is a preban rifle, but haven't found too much information on it.
